Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the SVG Weave website and app at svgweave.com (the "Service"), operated by Amita Shukla("SVG Weave", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

The Service

SVG Weave uses AI models to create SVG images from text and images, and to animate and edit SVGs. AI output can be wrong, inconsistent or different each time you run the same prompt. We want SVG Weave to be as useful as possible, so we may change its features, AI models and prices at any time. We will never charge you without making it very clear exactly what you are paying for.

Accounts

You need an account to use the editor. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time, as described on Delete your account.

Credits and payments

Generating, animating and editing SVGs uses credits. You buy credits in one-time packs. None of them is a subscription, and nothing renews. New accounts start with no credits. The packs, their prices and what a credit buys are shown on our Pricing page and in the app before you buy.

Polar is our merchant of record.Credit packs are sold by Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), which acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller. Polar takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and emails your receipt. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy. Please contact us first about any billing problem.

• The price you pay is the price shown at checkout.
• Credits are added to the SVG Weave account whose email address you use at checkout.
• Credits do not expire.
• Credits are linked to one account. They have no cash value and can't be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.
• When a generation starts, we hold some credits from your balance. When it finishes, you are charged its real cost and the rest goes back to your balance. If it fails, all the held credits go back.
• If you delete your account, any unused credits are forfeited and are not refunded.

Immediate delivery and refunds. Credits are digital content, added to your account as soon as your payment goes through. Before you buy, you ask us to deliver them right away and acknowledge that, once they are delivered, you lose the right to withdraw from the purchase that consumers in some countries (such as the EU and UK) otherwise have for 14 days. Credit packs are not refundable except as set out in our Refund Policy. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, we may remove the credits it added from your balance.

Your content and what you make

Your input. You keep all rights to the prompts, images and SVGs you put into SVG Weave. You confirm that you have the right to use them. You give us a limited permission to store and process them, and the SVGs generated from them, and to send them to our AI providers, only as needed to run the Service for you.

What you make. As between you and us, you own the SVGs and animations you create with SVG Weave, to the extent the law allows. We claim no ownership of your outputs. You can use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial work. Because they are generated by AI, they may not be unique, may be similar to what others create, and may not be protected by copyright in every country. You are responsible for checking them before you use them, for example for trademarks or likenesses.

We do not use your prompts, images or SVGs to train AI models. What our AI providers may do with them is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to use SVG Weave in compliance with all applicable laws. You must not use it to:

• create or upload content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, harasses or threatens people, or promotes violence;
• infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or upload material you don't have the right to use;
• create deceptive content, such as logos or documents meant to impersonate a real business or person;
• break, overload or get around the Service's security, credit checks or limits, or access other people's projects; or
• resell access to the Service, or scrape it, without our written permission.

SVG Weave sends your requests to third-party AI models, so you must also follow their policies: the QuiverAI Acceptable Use Policy, Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, the Anthropic Usage Policy and Vercel's AI Product Terms. We may refuse requests, remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use SVG Weave and to buy credits.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services that have their own terms, including Clerk (accounts), Convex (database), Vercel (hosting and the AI Gateway), Polar (payments) and the AI providers named above. Our Privacy Policy lists them all.

Availability, changes and termination

SVG Weave is in beta. We try to keep it running and correct, but it may be unavailable at times, and it depends on third parties such as our hosting and AI providers. Keep your own copy of anything important by exporting it.

We may change or stop the Service, and we may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. When your use ends, the rights these terms give you end too.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree that the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with your use of SVG Weave. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. Changes take effect when they are posted. If a change materially affects you, we may also tell you by email.
