What's new

Pricing, policies and a clearer checkout

  • New: New pages for pricing, the privacy policy, terms, refunds, account deletion, about and contact.
  • New: This changelog, also available as an RSS feed and as JSON.
  • Changed: Before you buy credits, you now confirm that you want them added right away, which ends the right to withdraw from the purchase.
  • Changed: Support is now at support@svgweave.com.
  • Improved: The site loads fewer third-party scripts, and the feedback widget loads only inside the app.

All AI models on one gateway

  • Changed: Animations, edits, SVG titles and the assistant chat now run through the Vercel AI Gateway instead of OpenRouter.

Generate in the style of your SVG

  • New: Text to SVG now sends the SVG already on the node as a style reference, so prompts like "make a matching icon in this style" can see it.
  • Fixed: Text to SVG and image to SVG work again after the old connection to QuiverAI was retired.
  • Fixed: Every part of a generated SVG gets an id, so animations can target the right shapes.
  • Fixed: Automatic SVG titles work again; the model that wrote them had been retired.

Renders no longer get stuck

  • Fixed: Long renders are no longer cut off part way through.
  • Fixed: A render that stalls now stops with an error within 5 minutes, and the credits held for it go back to your balance.
  • Fixed: A render that returns nothing is shown as failed and is not charged.

Pay as you go only

  • Changed: New accounts no longer get free credits. SVG Weave is now credit packs only.
  • Improved: When you run out of credits, a buy-credits dialog opens wherever you are in the app.
  • Improved: Credits returned after a failed generation go back to your purchased balance.
  • Fixed: Text to SVG and image to SVG now hold their credits before they start, like renders do.

New credit packs

  • New: Four credit packs: Micro ($5, 150 credits), Starter ($10, 350), Growth ($20, 750) and Pro ($50, 2,000). Bigger packs save up to 25% per credit.
  • New: An account menu and a help button on every page of the app.
  • Improved: A confirmation when your credits arrive after a purchase.
  • Fixed: Starting several renders at once can no longer spend more credits than you have.

Faster renders

  • Improved: Animations render faster, through higher-throughput routing to Gemini.

Library, titles and better exports

  • New: Library tab: reuse any SVG from your other projects as the input for a new one.
  • New: Every generated SVG gets a short title, which you can edit.
  • New: A node list beside the graph. Click a node to jump to it.
  • Fixed: PNG export renders at 4x on the server, and GIF export captures every frame correctly at up to 1600 px.

Create with chat

  • New: Create an SVG by chatting: describe it or drop in an image, and the assistant generates it.
  • New: Canvas toolbar: copy the code, view it, and export as SVG, PNG or GIF.
  • New: Select an element on the canvas and delete it.
  • Improved: The timeline loops playback by default and shows the full length of repeating animations.

Text and image to SVG

  • New: Start from a text description or an image: SVG Weave generates a clean SVG and you animate it. Images up to about 7.5 MB.
  • Improved: Generated SVGs have named parts, which makes animations more accurate.
  • Improved: A clear dialog with a buy-credits button when you run out of credits.

SVG Weave launches

  • New: A node-based editor: connect an SVG to a prompt and AI renders it as an animated SVG with CSS keyframes. Chain renders to refine, or branch to try ideas side by side.
  • New: An edit page for fine-tuning a single render.
  • New: Credit packs, paid through Polar.
