Prices are in US dollars. Buy credits from the Credits page in the app; create an account first if you don't have one.
What costs credits
- Text to SVG and image to SVG: 50 credits each.
- Animating (a render) and editing: depends on the AI work it takes. About 18 credits on average; complex animations cost more. If the AI provider reports no usage, the charge is 10 credits.
- Free: exporting SVG, PNG and GIF, copying code, editing titles and the timeline, and asking the assistant questions.
- Failed or timed-out generations: free. The credits held for them go back to your balance. If they don't, email us and we will add them.
Questions
What does a credit buy?
Credits are spent according to the AI work each action takes, with fixed costs where they apply. Turning a text prompt or an image into an SVG costs a fixed 50 credits. Animating or editing an SVG costs more or fewer credits depending on how much AI work it takes; an average render is about 18 credits.
Is there a free plan or a subscription?
No. SVG Weave has no free plan and no subscription. You buy a credit pack when you need credits, pay once, and nothing renews. New accounts start with 0 credits.
Am I charged if a render fails?
No. When a render or edit starts we hold 20 credits (50 for text or image to SVG), so you need at least that many to start. When it finishes you pay the real cost and the rest goes back to your balance. If it fails or times out, all the held credits go back. If they don't, email us and we will add them.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay on your account until you use them. If you delete your account, unused credits are forfeited.
Does exporting cost credits?
No. Copying the SVG code and exporting SVG, PNG or GIF files is free.
Does the assistant chat cost credits?
Only when the assistant generates or edits an SVG for you, at the same cost as in the editor. Asking it questions is free.
How do I pay?
Checkout is run by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, handles any sales tax or VAT for your country, and emails you a receipt. Credits are added to your account as soon as the payment goes through.
Can I get a refund?
Credit packs are not refundable as a rule. A duplicate charge, or an order whose credits never arrived, is always refunded in full, and failed generations are re-credited automatically. Anything else is reviewed case by case; see the Refund Policy.
